⑴两年多前，微软长期运行的向下兼容计划停止了。该服务更新了初代 Xbox 和 Xbox 游戏，使其能够在 Xbox One 上运行。随着新一代 Xbox Series X|S 系列的发布，微软推出了最后一次的向下兼容游戏，并宣布新增 款游戏，支持自动 HDR。
⑵在今日的 Xbox 周年庆典直播期间，微软重新引入了向下兼容性计划，共有 款游戏，包含《马克思佩恩》和《FEAR》系列、《时空分裂者 》《时空分裂者：完美未来》《死或生终极版》《星球大战：绝地武士 》等，甚至还有《极限滑板 》。
⑶当在 Xbox Series X|S 上游玩这些游戏时，将支持兼容显示器上的自动 HDR，Xbox 游戏原始分辨率也将提高：
⑷Xbox One 为 倍，Xbox Series S 为 倍，Xbox Series X 和 Xbox One X 为 倍。
⑸此外，FPS Boost 也将支持向下兼容的 款游戏，包括《辐射：新维加斯》《上古卷轴 ：湮灭》《龙腾世纪：起源》等，可将帧率翻倍至 帧。
